Helpful Tips When applying the product: for an intense and lasting tan, apply 2 layers of the product. When using the self-tanning product for the first time, we recommend that you apply only 1 layer to test your durability and how intense the tan is, and to judge whether you need 2 layers in the next application. To keep the tan as long as possible, use a moisturizer on the skin every day. If you regularly apply self-tanning product a few times a week, we recommend removing it completely once a week with an exfoliating mitt to avoid uneven product build-up. For best results, exfoliate skin with a glove 24 hours before use. Before application, moisturize dry areas such as ankles, knees, elbows and feet. Shake well before use. Apply to clean and dry skin. Use self-tanning mitts and apply well in circular motions. Finish by applying the excess foam left in the glove to the hands and feet.  Wait for it to dry before dressing. For best results, wait 2-8 hours before showering for the tan to fully develop. Keep in mind that the longer you wait, the darker your skin will become.
