PGP FIBRATED FILLER is ready mixed masonry filler based on acrylic resins and rock wool fibers, suitable for both interior and exterior use. It is suitable for filling and coating cracks and holes on walls, ceilings, floors and doors. Due to its unique formulation fills cracks easier with less shrinkage and withstands bigger surface movement and vibrations than conventional elastic filers. May be applied on most usual building surfaces.

APPLICATIONS

  • It is suitable for filling cracks and joints of interior and exterior walls and ceilings prior to the final coat.
  • It is suitable for plaster, smooth concrete surfaces, aerated concrete blocks, plasterboards, cement boards etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  1. Surfaces must be dry and clean from dust, grease and loose particles and other contamination
  2. For deeper cracks or joints application of water-based acrylic primer is necessary
  3. Apply with a spatula or spreader
  4. Press the filler onto the surface to a maximum depth of 5mm
  5. For deep cavities 0,5 – 2cm use plastic or fiber reinforcing net.
  6. Allow each layer to dry (approximately 1 hour) before applying the next.
  7. Fill hole proud to allow for sanding and finish with a wet knife
  8. Once dry, sand to a smooth finish
  9. The final surface may be primed and painted
  10. Close lid immediately after use to prevent drying

It is advisable to perform a suitability test prior to full scale application

REMARKS

  • Do not use to fill plastics or metals
  • Do not apply externally when rain is imminent (within 5 hours of application)
  • Do not apply at temperatures (ambient and surface) below 5oC
  • Not suitable for repairs to permanently wet areas
