The Makita HR2630 is the benchmark 3kg rotary hammer drill with 3 functions, rotary hammer for masonry drilling, rotary only for drilling wood, metal, and plastics, and hammer only for chiseling. Featuring a rubberized grip for excellent control and reduced user fatigue and an axial forward/reverse switch so the motor produces the same torque in both forward and reverse mode making it ideal for reversing bits out.
With a new improved mode selection switch meaning that you can switch between rotary only, rotary hammer, and hammer only without having to rotate the chuck. The variable speed trigger is ergonomically positioned for comfortable 2 finger operation and has a lock button for continuous use. The one-touch sliding chuck makes for easy bit change and will accept all SDS+ bits and has 40 different angle settings for perfect chisel position and the torque limiter protects the user in the event of bit snagging.
Other features include a soft grip side handle with a quick release depth stop a Generous 4m heavy-duty rubber lead and a rigid carry case with double latches.
