Το προϊόν είναι ένα ρυθμιστικό σκεύασμα που σταθεροποιεί το pH των μειγμάτων ψεκαστικού υγρού, βελτιώνοντας τη δράση των φυτοπροστατευτικών προϊόντων, ιδιαίτερα εντομοκτόνων και των προϊόντων διαφυλλικής θρέψης – λίπανσης. Επιπρόσθετα, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως προσκολλητικό, μειώνοντας την επιφανειακή τάση και διατηρώντας το ψεκαστικό υγρό περισσότερο χρόνο στην επιφάνεια του φύλλου, επιτρέποντας έτσι την καλύτερη δυνατή απορρόφηση. Επιπλέον, λόγω της περιεκτικότητάς του σε Κάλιο, ενδείκνυται σε όλα τα στάδια της ανάπτυξης του φυτού, ιδιαίτερα κατά την αύξηση και ωρίμανση του καρπού.
Ανεξάρτητα από το αρχικό pH, μετά την προσθήκη του, το Fixertop pH καταφέρνει να μειώνει ή να αυξάνει το pH, προσεγγίζοντας το στο 5.
