The Makita HS6601 circular saw is a compact, lightweight unit featuring a 165mm TCT saw blade with a maximum cut of 54.5mm. Features include an ergonomic soft grip and a rear exhaust port for connection to a dust extraction unit. The body is constructed with a strong aluminum base plate, a die-cast blade casing and safety cover, and a rear angular guide for precise bevel angle adjustment. Brushes can be changed without the need to open the motor casing and a spindle lock enables rapid blade changeover.
