3-Stage FoodCycler® System
Using an automatic 3-stage cycle, the FoodCycler® device dehydrates, grinds, and cools food waste while simultaneously filtering odors and methane gases. During the “Drying” stage, organic waste is dehydrated and moisture is removed. Next, in the “Grinding” stage, the blades pulverize the waste into small particles. Finally, in the “Cooling” stage, the processed material—known as EcoChips—is coOLED to make it safe for handling, disposal, or further use.
Odourless process and storage
The two replaceable activated carbon EcoFilters™ direct and filter the airflow during processing, ensuring a clean and odourless cycle. Before starting the cycle, and also while storing food waste in the bucket, the lid with an integrated carbon filter helps reduce ambient odors, keeping your kitchen fresh and free from unpleasant smells.
Quiet operation and low energy consumption
The advanced sensor technology customizes each cycle by monitoring the dryness and humidity levels of the food waste, allowing minimal energy consumption with maximum efficiency. The FoodCycler device consumes an average of 1 kWh per cycle. Additionally, the Twist & Lock lid reduces noise (and odors) during operation.
