Which cable do I need?
The 3320g uses a Multi-interface cable that auto-detects the host interface. For USB, the standard cable is part 52-52559-N-3-FR (USB Type A, 2.9m straight). For RS-232, a separate power supply is also required. Order the appropriate cable separately to complete the kit.
Can it be used both handheld and as a fixed presentation scanner?
Yes — the Vuquest 3320g supports both modes. Used handheld, the thumb-activated trigger button initiates scanning. In fixed/presentation mode, the scanner continuously reads barcodes presented to it, making it ideal for kiosks and countertop POS without any configuration change.
