Compatibility — 2.5-inch drives only
This bus-powered adapter works with 2.5" SATA (I/II/III) SSDs and hard drives only. It does not power 3.5" drives — those need a powered adapter such as the StarTech USB312SAT3. The host connector is USB Type-A (5GBps); UASP performance requires a UASP-capable host. Maximum supported drive power is 900 mA.
