The EVOLU finger pulse oximeter is a portable non-invasive device for on-site monitoring of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) oxygen saturation and patient pulse in hospitals, hospital-type facilities, and the home environment. This device is not intended for continuous monitoring.
The normal oxygen saturation (SpO2) of the arterial blood in the human body is 98%. If the measured oxygen saturation value is less than 94%, the oxygen content is considered insufficient. Please consult your doctor. Pulse rate (bpmPR) is the number of pulse beats per minute. The pulse rate usually corresponds to the heart rate. In General, each person's heart rate is 60 to 90 beats per minute. The perfusion index (PI) usually reflects the perfusion status of the limbs of the patient being studied. The normal PI of the human body is 3% or more.
Oxygen saturation indicates the percentage of hemoglobin in the arterial blood that contains oxygen. This is a very important parameter of the respiratory circulatory system. Many respiratory diseases can cause lower oxygen saturation in a person’s blood.
