Compatibility notes
This dock uses DisplayLink, so the free DisplayLink driver must be installed once (Windows and macOS) before use. It connects over USB-C or USB-A, so it works even on laptops without DisplayPort Alt Mode. There are four video ports (2x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort) but you use up to two at a time for dual 4K/60Hz. It supplies supplementary USB-C Power Delivery to the laptop (up to about 40W), so for high-power laptops you should keep using your own charger alongside it.
