The ASUS NUC 15 Pro Tall Kit (model NUC15CRH / RNUC15CRHC700002) is a 0.7-litre barebone mini PC running Intel’s Core 7 240H processor — a 10-core, 16-thread Raptor Lake-R chip clocking up to 5.2 GHz turbo with 24 MB cache and 45 W cTDP. Unlike the Core Ultra Tall Kit variants, this is a non-vPro, non-NPU configuration aimed at office, signage and edge deployments where you want the Tall chassis’ expansion options at a lower price point. The Tall form factor still supports ASUS’s optional add-ons — a 2nd M.2 2280 SSD module, a 2nd 2.5GBE LAN module, or an RS232 serial header — not available on the Slim NUC15CRK variants.

Barebone Kit: This product ships without RAM, without SSD and without an operating system. You will need to install two DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM modules (up to 96GB total), at least one M.2 NVMe SSD (PCIe 4.0), and a Windows or Linux licence/installation media before first boot. VESA mount bracket and 120 W PSU included.

The Core 7 240H is a 10-core Raptor Lake-R CPU without vPro, without NPU and without Intel Arc graphics — it uses standard Intel integrated graphics. The Core Ultra 7 265H (in the “V” variant Kits) is a 16-core Arrow Lake-H chip with vPro, an NPU and Intel Arc 140T graphics. Choose the 240H for cost-effective General-purpose builds, the 265H for vPro fleets and AI workloads.
What is the difference between Tall (CRH) and Slim (CRK) variants?
The Tall Kit is 0.7 L and is the only NUC 15 Pro variant that accepts ASUS’s expansion accessories — a 2nd M.2 2280 SSD module, 2nd 2.5GBE LAN module, or RS232 serial accessory. Choose Tall when you need this expansion; Slim when you do not.
Which operating systems are supported?
The platform is validated for Windows 11 (Pro / Home / IoT), RedHat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. You will need to provide your own licence and installation media. Headless display operation is supported for server / signage workloads.
