The ASUS NUC 15 Pro Tall Kit (model NUC15CRH / RNUC15CRHV700002) is a compact 117 × 112 × 54 mm barebone mini PC built around Intel’s Core Ultra 7 265H processor — 16 cores in a hybrid P+E architecture with an integrated NPU and Intel Arc 140T graphics, plus Intel vPro Enterprise for hardware-based remote management. Unlike the slim NUC15CRK variant, the Tall chassis leaves room for ASUS’s optional expansion accessories — a second M.2 2280 SSD, an extra 2.5GBE LAN port, or an RS232 serial header — making it a natural fit for edge servers, headless deployments and managed-fleet workstations that need future-proof expansion.

Barebone Kit: This product ships without RAM, without SSD and without an operating system. You will need to install two DDR5 SO-DIMM modules (up to 96GB DDR5-6400 CSO-DIMM or 64GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM), at least one M.2 NVMe SSD, and a Windows or Linux licence/installation media before first boot. VESA mount bracket included.

No — this is a barebone kit. You will need your own DDR5 SO-DIMM memory (up to 96GB across 2 slots), at least one M.2 NVMe SSD and a Windows or Linux installation before first boot.
What is the difference between the Tall Kit (NUC15CRH) and the Slim Kit (NUC15CRK)?
The Tall Kit is 54 mm tall (vs the Slim Kit’s lower profile) and is the only NUC 15 Pro variant that accepts ASUS’s expansion accessories — a 2nd M.2 2280 SSD module, a 2nd 2.5GBE LAN module, or a 2nd 2.5GBE + RS232 serial accessory. Choose the Tall Kit when you need this expansion; the Slim Kit when you do not.
What is Intel vPro and why does it matter?
Intel vPro Enterprise provides hardware-based remote management (Intel AMT) and additional silicon-level security features — IT administrators can wake, image, remediate and audit machines remotely, even when the OS is unavailable or the system is powered off.
Which operating systems are supported?
The platform is validated for Windows 11 (Pro / Home / IoT), RedHat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. You will need to provide your own licence and installation media. Headless display operation is supported for server / signage workloads.
