Because the PCIe x16 slot must be split into four x4 lanes, the host motherboard must support x4/x4/x4/x4 bifurcation — check your board’s manual before purchase.
Advanced Cooling
An all-aluminum cover paired with an 11-cm thermal pad covers every NAND package, transferring heat away from the SSDs. A 5 cm cooling fan with a PCB-mounted speed switch actively lowers temperatures, and the dedicated ASRock Quad M.2 Card Utility lets you monitor status and control fan speed. Multiple cards can be managed via the onboard switch for even greater M.2 expansion.
