The ASUS ZenDrive U9M (SDRW-08U9M-U, part 90DD02A5-M29000) is an ultra-slim external DVD writer for laptops and desktops that no longer have a built-in optical drive. Just 13mm thick, it reads and writes DVDs at 8X and CDs at 24X, and connects over USB 2.0 using either the included USB Type-C or Type-A cable — so it works with modern and older Mac and Windows machines.
