The kit uses non-binary 48GB modules for 96GB total. Most current AM5 boards support 48GB modules, but some older boards need a BIOS update to recognise them. Check your board’s memory QVL for 48GB / 96GB support and update the BIOS if needed, then enable EXPO.

Is this ECC or registered memory?
No. It is unbuffered, non-ECC desktop UDIMM memory. As with all DDR5, the chips include on-die ECC for internal integrity, but this is standard consumer memory, not server registered (RDIMM) or module-level ECC.
