The Gembird DD-U3M2 is a desktop USB-C docking station that reads and expands storage from M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA SSDs at up to 10GBps, ideal for anyone who needs fast access to bare M.2 drives without opening a PC. Built around the Realtek RTL9210B bridge controller, part number DD-U3M2 connects over USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 2) and ships with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, so it works with both modern and older machines and with MacBook and Windows PCs alike. It is bus-powered and driver-free, supporting UASP and TRIM for full SSD performance. The M.2 drive is sold separately. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Before you buy — compatibility
The dock accepts M.2 drives in 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 lengths, in either PCIe NVMe (M-key) or SATA (B+M-key) form. NVMe drives run at up to 10GBps and M.2 SATA drives at up to 5GBps. It does not accept 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drives or mSATA cards, and it is a single-bay dock that holds one drive at a time. No external power supply or driver is required.
