Before you buy: The Wave AP is a UISP device (not UniFi) and is the PtMP base station — you connect Wave client radios (Wave Pro, Long-Range, Nano or Pico) to it, sold separately. It runs on passive PoE from the included 48V 2.5GBE adapter (not 802.3af/at). 60 GHz needs clear line-of-sight; the 5 GHz radio provides backup. Ranges depend on the client: up to 8 km to a Wave Pro/Long-Range.
