The Jabra Engage 50 II UC Stereo USB-C (part 5099-610-299) is the next-generation refresh of Jabra's flagship wired contact center headset family — lighter, smarter and more comfortable than the original Engage 50. A three-microphone beamforming array isolates the agent's voice with up to 36 dB of background-noise reduction, BalancedVoice signal processing keeps speech levels even and clear, and the Engage+ software layer adds real-time on-screen guidance for the agent plus rich quality data for supervisors. The Stereo (Duo) design covers both ears for maximum focus on demanding calls, and the USB-C cable plugs straight into modern laptops, docks and thin clients.

Configuration Note: This is the headset-only variant — it does not include the optional Engage 50 II Link inline control unit (with SmartRinger, programmable button and dedicated answer/end/mute/volume buttons). Volume and mute are controlled at the OS level. If you need the inline controller, choose the bundled SKU 5099-299-2259 or add the Link 50-2259 separately.

What is the difference vs the original Engage 50?
The Engage 50 II is the new Generation — lighter (around 63 g), with BalancedVoice processing, Engage+ real-time insights, beamforming microphones rated up to 36 dB noise reduction and speech-to-text optimization. The original Engage 50 has the DSP chip embedded in the earcup; the 50 II moves to a more conventional design with optional inline Link controller.
Does this SKU include the inline call controller?
No. This is the headset-only variant. The Engage 50 II Link inline controller (with SmartRinger and programmable button) is sold separately, or pick the bundled SKU 5099-299-2259 which includes it.
