Faber Castell Polychromos pencils contain a soft waterproof waxy lead that is smooth and particularly resistant to smudging. Highly pigmented unsurpassed lightfastness and acid-free. The leads are 3.8mm and are break-resistant. They can be sharpened to a very fine point for finer details or they can be used to cover extended areas completely. The pencils are presented in a metal case, just like the original 1908 design.
