Tempocol® is used to promote good intestinal function and to decrease intenstinal transit time. It can therefore be used to help with bloating and flatulence problems.CHARACTERISTICSTempocol® contains peppermint oil, enclosed in a gastro-resistant softgel capsule which helps the release to occur after reaching the intestines.This oil is extracted from the peppermint plant (Mentha piperata) by steam distillation, without addition of other chemical substances. The essential oil of peppermint consists mainly of menthol (30 - 55%).The fact that the softgel is coated with an outer gastro-resistante layer makes that the release of the oil is delayed until the softgel reaches the place where it is required, the intestines.PARTICULAR PRECAUTIONSPeppermint oil is known to be a potent oil which has long been used to promote good intestinal function and to decrease intestinal transit time. Therefore, peppermint oil also stimulates digestion. DOSAGEThe recommended dose is: 1 softgel Tempocol®, 30 to 60 minutes before a meal, with half glass of water. For optimal results, it is recommended that Tempocol® be taken for several days.ACTIVE INGREDIENTSEach softgel Tempocol® contains: 182 mg peppermint oil (0,2 ml / softgel).Each box Tempocol® contains 60 gastro-resistant softgels in 4 blister packs.
