The Gigabyte A520M DS3H V2 is a Micro-ATX motherboard on theAMD A520 chipset for Socket AM4, distinguished from all other budget A520 boards by providing two M.2 slots. The primary M.2 slot connects directly to the CPU at PCIe 3.0 x4 for maximum NVMe performance; the second connects via the chipset at PCIe 3.0 x2 or SATA, enabling a dedicated NVMe SSD for the operating system and a separate NVMe or SATA M.2 drive for games and files — all without occupying a single SATA port. The board supports Ryzen 5000, 4000G and 3000 Series processors, DDR4 memory up to 64GB, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 rear ports, HDMI and VGA ouTPUts and Gigabit Ethernet.

Note: The A520 chipset does not support CPU or memory overclocking. DDR4 runs at JEDEC standard speeds (no XMP). The second M.2 slot (chipset-connected) runs at PCIe 3.0 x2 — sufficient for most drives but slower than the primary PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.
