The QNAP TL-R1200C-RP, part number TL-R1200C-RP, is a 12-bay 2U rackmount JBOD storage enclosure with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10GB/s) Type-C connectivity and a redundant power supply, built to expand and back up a QNAP NAS, a Windows PC or a server. It holds twelve 3.5-inch SATA 6GB/s drives in hot-swap trays, ships diskless so you add your own drives, and uses dual power supplies to keep running if one fails. As a JBOD unit it presents its drives to the host, which manages any RAID through software — unlike the QNAP TR series, which has its own built-in hardware RAID.
