The EAP230-Wall is powered by 802.3af/at PoE on its uplink port from a PoE switch or injector (not included), with a low ~7 W draw. It adds one Gigabit LAN downlink port for a wired device in the room (this model does not provide PoE passthrough - for that, the EAP235-Wall is the sibling). It is a dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 (AC1200) unit and does not use the 6 GHz band or Wi-Fi 6 features.
