The Ubiquiti NanoSwitch (part number N-SW) is a weatherproof 4-port Gigabit switch for tower and rooftop sites: one port takes 24V passive PoE in, and the other three pass both data and 24V power through to airMAX radios, airCubes or cameras. With a 4GBps non-blocking line rate, ±24 kV ESD/EMP protection and a -30 to 70°C rating in a white polycarbonate shell, it distributes a single PoE feed across a whole mast. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility note: Powered by 24V passive 2-pair PoE (21.6–30V) — the recommended POE-24-30W-G adapter is not included. Passthrough is passive 24V only: connect devices rated for it (airMAX CPEs etc.), never standard 802.3af/at equipment. Total PoE budget 30 W across the three ouTPUt ports.

Is the NanoSwitch managed?
No — it is a plug-and-play unmanaged switch. It simply extends one PoE feed to multiple mast-mounted devices at Gigabit speed.
Can it power standard 802.3af/at devices?
No. Passthrough is passive 24V on fixed pairs; connecting IEEE-PoE-only devices risks damage. It is designed for airMAX-class 24V equipment.
What power supply do I need?
Ubiquiti recommends the POE-24-30W-G Gigabit PoE adapter (sold separately) to cover the switch plus the full 30 W passthrough budget.
What do I need to know before buying?
Budget the three ouTPUt ports at 30 W combined, keep the feed voltage within 21.6–30V, and note it is unmanaged — VLANs and monitoring need an upstream managed switch.
