Q: Why RS-232 instead of USB?
A: RS-232 is the standard interface for legacy PLCs, industrial terminals and serial host systems. If your host has a COM port, this is the correct kit. For USB-A connections, an alternative kit with USB interface module is available.
Q: Can I switch the cradle from RS-232 to USB later?
