Is the charging stand included?
No. This SKU (9653-450-111) is the no-stand variant. For an otherwise identical Mono headset with charging stand included in the box, choose 9653-455-111.
Why DECT and not Bluetooth?
DECT uses dedicated wireless spectrum, so it doesn't fight Wi-Fi or other Bluetooth devices for bandwidth. You get a much longer range (up to 150m line of sight versus 10–30m for typical BT headsets), better audio stability in dense offices and stronger security (DECT Security Level C+).
Mono or Stereo — which should I choose?
Mono (single ear) suits reception, contact-centre and front-desk roles where you need to stay aware of colleagues or the room. Stereo suits roles where you want full immersion and music between calls — for the equivalent stereo version pick 9659-450-111 / 9659-455-111.
Will it work with USB-C laptops?
The included Link 400a adapter is USB-A. For USB-C laptops you can use a USB-A to USB-C adapter, or pick the 9653-470-111 / 9653-475-111 USB-C MS Mono variants for a native USB-C solution.
