It pairs a comfortable on-ear stereo headset with the pre-paired Jabra Link 400a USB-A DECT adapter and a desk charging stand — plug in, sit down and start working. Compatibility & Variant Note: This is the UC (Unified Communications) variant with a USB-A Link 400a adapter — optimised for Zoom, Google Meet, Amazon Chime, Webex and most UC platforms. It is not Microsoft Teams certified; for Teams-first deployments use the MS variant (9659-455 series). For computers with USB-C only, choose the USB-C variant (9659-430 / 9659-435 series).

Is it Microsoft Teams certified?
No. This is the UC variant, optimised for Zoom, Google Meet, Amazon Chime, Webex and other UC platforms. For Teams certification choose the MS variant (9659-455 series for USB-A or 9659-475 series for USB-C).
Does it work with Bluetooth or only DECT?
DECT only via the included Link 400a USB-A adapter. There is no Bluetooth radio. DECT is purpose-built for voice and offers far longer range and better density than Bluetooth in busy offices.
Can the battery be replaced?
Yes. The Engage 55 SE uses a user-exchangeable lithium-ion battery — the 14151-09 Jabra Engage Battery Pack — which extends the useful life of the headset and avoids early disposal.
