The Jabra Engage 55 SE Stereo (9659-455-111) is the DECT wireless headset designed for professionals who live on the phone. It uses dedicated DECT — not Bluetooth — to deliver reliable, secure audio across distances Bluetooth can't match: up to 150 metres / 490 feet of line-of-sight range, with DECT Security Level C+. The Link 400a USB-A adapter ships pre-paired and includes a dedicated Microsoft Teams button. A charging stand is included in the box.

Why DECT and not Bluetooth?
DECT uses dedicated wireless spectrum, so it doesn't fight Wi-Fi or other Bluetooth devices for bandwidth. You get a much longer range (up to 150m line of sight versus 10–30m for typical BT headsets), better audio stability in dense offices and stronger security (DECT Security Level C+).
Is the charging stand included?
Yes. The 9659-455-111 SKU is the "Include Stand" variant — the charging stand is in the box. If you only need the headset and dongle, the 9659-450-111 variant ships without the stand.
Will it work with USB-C laptops?
The included Link 400a adapter is USB-A. For USB-C laptops you can use a USB-A to USB-C adapter, but for a clean native USB-C solution choose the 9659-475-111 variant which includes the Link 400c USB-C MS adapter.
Can I use it with Zoom or Google Meet too?
Yes. The headset and DECT adapter work as a standard audio device with Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco, Amazon Chime and other UC platforms. Only the Teams button on the dongle is Microsoft Teams-specific.
